The Avengers Official Teaser Trailer
This makes me happy. HOWEVER, there are some things that I could be more excited about that they chose to exclude.
First of all, there’s still no visual confirmation of certain villainous force that has been rumored to antagonize the titular characters along with Loki. I could be patient and just see if they’ll reveal that tidbit sooner or later, but I’ve been waiting for this movie since I was in middle school. I don’t want to wait anymore.
Also, I think that I saw Thor fighting Captain America. That makes me scratch my head. I trust Whedon and all that he does. I know there has to be some reason for the two of them to go at it, so I trust that there is.
One thing I saw that I REALLY liked was Steve Rogers butting heads with Tony Stark. Any beef between those two will most likely be a reference to the Civil War crossover event where they respectively led warring factions that were split by the Superhero Registration Act.
I really didn’t see anything that I didn’t love and want to see more of. Honestly, more than anything, I’m just anxious and bitter that I can’t see more. Very well done. Summer can’t come fast enough.
